From Playground to Pro: Betagro's Football Clinic Returns for Its Second Year, Inspiring Future Stars

Bangkok – 1 September 2025 – Betagro Public Company Limited (BTG), a leading integrated food company in Thailand, is dedicated to advancing Thai sports and supporting athletes on both national and international stages. This commitment is demonstrated through our continuous partnership with Lamphun Warrior Football Club since 2011. We take great pride in contributing to the club’s rise from regional leagues to competing in Thailand’s professional leagues.

This year, Betagro continues to nurture dreams and inspire Thai younger generation through the football clinic “Road to Better Growth,” now in its second year. The program welcomed more than 75 youths, including children of the company’s employees, business partners, customers, and students from Lamphun Province and nearby provinces, who had the opportunity to develop their football skills under the guidance of professional players from Lamphun Warrior, known as the “White Bull King.” This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting Thai sports and fostering a new generation of youth prepared for a stable and sustainable future.

The event was officially opened by Ms. Nualphun Mokkhamakkul, Director of Brand Management, Corporate Marketing and Communication Office, Betagro Public Company (Limited), together with Mr. Wanderley Machado da Silva Junior, the newly appointed Head Coach of Lamphun Warrior, presided over the opening ceremony. They were joined by Lamphun Warriors players such as Mr. Anan Yodsangwal, Mr. Akarapong Pumwisat, Mr. Mohammed Osman, and Mr. Mg Mg Lwin, who shared their experiences and conducted the intensive football training sessions at Lamphun Warrior Stadium.

Throughout the clinic, participants learned a range of fundamental football skills, from warm-ups, ball juggling, dribbling, free kicks, and goalkeeping to accuracy drills. They also gained match experience by playing on the pitch. In addition, 3 activity stations were designed to provide well-rounded knowledge:

  1. Photography & Media – practicing professional-style portrait poses to build athlete confidence and presence.
  2. Physical Conditioning – focusing on warm-up routines and body movement preparation for real matches.
  3. Sports Nutrition – educating participants on daily nutritional needs suitable for athletes.

All these activities aim to inspire and guide young players on the pathway toward becoming professional footballers.

Betagro strongly believes that fostering “Better Health” alongside “Better Food” is the foundation for improving quality of life and supporting young people, the future of the nation, to grow stronger in both body and mind. Betagro also reaffirms its commitment to promoting Thai sports in a sustainable way.
