BETAGRO Labor Standard
We have established “Betagro Labor Standard (BLS)” in accordance with Thailand’s labor law, international human rights and labor relations in order to uniformly uplift the labor standards for the company and subsidiaries since April 2015 and applied to the supply chain since November 2015. In 2017, we launched “Your Voice, We Care” project in collaboration with the Isra Institute to increase channels for receiving feedbacks and opinions from workers, leading to the development and solution of labor problems in the long run under 5 principles as follows:
Employee Care and Development
We focus on personnel development with a policy to encourage employees to develop knowledge and skills required at each job level to increase their growth potential along the career development path. We also have the employee development framework to develop leadership skill and functional skill with a blended learning process that focuses on practicality and guidance from coaches and mentors, consisting of:
Leadership Program
To develop knowledge and skills in job management as well as a collaboration with other people to achieve the targets
Functional Program
To develop knowledge and occupational skills, enhancing employees’ performance to meet their targets and grow along the career path
Talent and Succession Program
To develop the high potential employees and successors in order to drive the business and create competitive advantages along with changes in the organization
Community Care and Development
We believe that businesses can grow sustainably only if they develop communities and society at the same time. Therefore, we focus on creating sustainability for society, community and environment with guidelines under the framework of responsibility to society and stakeholders in accordance with law without creating negative impacts. We also participate in community development through community relations committees in all 7 areas, which are the northern region, northeastern region, central region, eastern region, southern region, Lop Buri area and Pak Chong area in accordance with the standards of the Corporate Social Responsibility, Department of Industrial Works (CSR-DIW).
Moreover, we also support activities to promote social equality and reduce inequality as well as uplift the quality of life and sustainable cohabitation such as:
Model District Project (COVID-free setting)

Community Reforestation Project
A project designed to create awareness of environmental stewardship, add green space and create pleasant community which can be a food and tourist destination and create cooperation of all sectors in the community. On the 50th anniversary of Betagro, we have collaborated with the Chong Sarika Community, government agencies, local authorities, schools, Lop Buri College of Agriculture and Technology and temples to plant 13,000 trees in 13 villages. Nowadays, 10,000 trees from the project have grown as the 4 main community tree roads.
