Production quality and safe products are Betagro’s first priority. It has, therefore, maintained very strict quality control systems in every production step, from animal feed production to husbandry, from food processing at its factories to distribution points. Betagro believes that the integration of its businesses enables it to closely monitor the operation to ensure that it complies with the international food safety standards in the entire supply chain.
In addition, efficient systems have been put in place to inspect and trace back Betagro’s products to their original source in every production process.
Betagro also continues to monitor all the production processes. It examines quality assurance and quality management systems with the aim to reduce risks from contamination in its products. Besides applying risk evaluation principles in every production step and strict hygiene practice, it also monitors the operation regularly and adheres to various systems and practices including correct product storage and move, appropriate use of facilities and tools to ensure product quality and freshness. Most important is that Betagro’s food production is under control to make sure that its products contain no chemical, contamination, dangerous pathogens and other materials which are harmful to consumers’ health. Its quality control laboratories enable the Company to test raw materials and environment during production and also to test ready made products.
Betagro’s operation also complies with international rules and regulations, if necessary. As a result, it has received many international standard certifications including GMP, HACCP, RWA, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000, 50001 and SMETA. So that the Company continues to receive these certifications, it has to pass an annual inspection by the certification institutes. Betagro also evaluates itself every month, conducts random checks without advance notice and studies from monthly reports. These actions enable the Company to monitor and examine the efficiency of all control processes and to ensure that Betagro’s operation strictly complies with relevant standards.
