Betagro Innovation Center

As the organization’s hub of innovation, the Betagro Innovation Center transforms ideas and technologies into practical, real-world solutions. Its work is organized into two main groups:

  • FQO (Food Safety & Quality Management):

    Setting new benchmarks in food safety and quality, Betagro leverages intelligent systems like BQM 24/7 and e-Traceability to enable real-time monitoring and full traceability. We also lead initiatives to reduce antimicrobial use (AMU) and combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR), helping to safeguard public health for all.

  • Advanced Research & Innovation:

    Driving the food industry into a new era, Betagro invests in cutting-edge research across biotechnology, food technology, and materials science. These innovations deliver sustainable solutions, open new pathways to address global challenges, and lay the foundation for a healthier, more sustainable future.

Agro Innovation Center (AIC)

The AIC focuses on advancing animal feed formulas that optimize nutrition and efficiency while reducing organic waste, thereby creating sustainable value in livestock farming.

Food Innovation Center (FIC)

The FIC spearheads advancements in food processing and modern packaging, focusing on the development of safe, high-quality products that keep pace with evolving consumer needs.

Pet Innovation Center (PIC)

The PIC develops premium pet products and services—from specialized diets and treats to care solutions—ensuring quality, value, and safety for both pets and their owners.

Livestock Innovation Team

The livestock innovation team consolidates and analyzes research insights from both domestic and international sources. It develops new products that enhance livestock efficiency, manage costs, and unlock new business opportunities.

Collaborations Driving Industry Innovation

Beyond in-house research, Betagro forges strong partnerships with leading institutions to expand its capabilities and amplify its impact across the industry. Our collaborations with top universities – such as Kasetsart University and Khon Kaen University – have led to the creation of specialized research centers, including:

  • Fermentation Technology Research & Service Center

    In collaboration with Kasetsart University and the Agricultural Research Development Agency, Betagro has established a state-of-the-art Fermentation Technology Research & Service Center, a pilot facility valued at over 20 million baht. This prototype plant serves as a hub for innovation in fermentation technology, providing essential support for SMEs and OTOP producers to test and develop new fermented products. The center plays a key role in enhancing industry standards, fostering grassroots economic development, and driving sustainable growth within local communities.

  • Industrial Insects Pilot Production Plant

    In partnership with Khon Kaen University, Betagro has established Thailand’s first Industrial Insects Pilot Production Plant, leading the way in developing high-quality insect protein solutions for animal feed. This pioneering facility supports the advancement of sustainable agriculture and plays a vital role in shaping the future of alternative proteins.
