At present, Betagro Group has operated its businesses towards food business to distribute domestically and internationally. We classify our businesses into 5 main categories as follows:
Swine Integration
Betagro has fully run this business starting from the production of feed, the operation of breeder farms, the distribution of breeders to agriculturists and the processing plants, and also the production of soup base in the processed foods industry.
 Furthermore, the group signed a joint venture agreement with the Sumitomo Group from Japan to develop Thailand’s swine business. This will allow the group to compete both in the cost and products’ quality, as forming the company has allowed production and distribution of pig breeding by using SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) technology. Specific Pathogen Free technology helps pigs prevent disease and uses no antibiotics, which results in good quality, hygienic pork products to consumers. In addition, the company’s farm has become the first and only farm in Southeast Asia to be accredited with HACCP certification.
Betagro then established a joint venture with the Ajinomoto Group of Japan to manufacture and distribute processed frozen pork products for export. This is the first of Thailand’s production of frozen processed pork products to use SPF technology. Furthermore, the group has joined with Dainippon Pharmaceutical and Sumitomo Corporation to produce soup base products for export.
