| Love, unity, and community are the pillars of a successful society. Betagro believes that a nations strength springs largely from the quality of life of the individuals and the nurturing of good moral values and ethics in its collective society. The Betagro Development project, in cooperation with the Population and Community Development Association, demonstrates our commitment to fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between the company and the community at large.
Initiated in 2007, the Betagro Development project operates in 13 villages, covering 7,000 populations from Chongsarika district, Pattananikom municipality, Lop Buri province, and has played a vital part in creating a strong community through activities that answer the needs and concerns of the people. These activities focus on developing local livelihoods, social bonds, environment, and culture. Establishment of community banks, career development, and the undertaking of local case studies are all part of the projects diverse activities aimed at promoting community pride and self-reliance through public participation. Enthusiastic response from all district community members has led to Chongsarika district becoming a living example of a small but vibrant community equipped with strengths and capability to achieve even greater development and to be able to contribute to the overall development of the country in the future. |
